When I began making these stories in 1984 it was all bits and pieces that didn't seem to fit. It took a long time to trace the floating debris and the disconnected sentences back to the source. Finally, a pattern emerged. What I thought were many unrelated stories turned out to be one story told from multiple viewpoints. The result (so far) seems to be something like a collage or tapestry across time.
